This study explores the relationship between Type A behavior and work-family conflict in professional women. A sample of 170 professional women from two occupations, teaching and medical, was analyzed. The study hypothesized a significant positive relationship between Type A behavior and work-family conflict and anticipated that Type A women would experience more inter-role conflict involving their work and family roles. The results confirmed that Type A women experienced more work-family conflict compared to Type B women. Type A behavior was found to be significantly associated with higher work-family conflict, indicating that women with Type A behavior face greater challenges balancing work and family responsibilities.
